We are referring to AHAM Vastgoed when speaking about ‘we’, ‘AHAM’, or ‘AHAM Real Estate’. In this Privacy statement, we’ll delineate your right to privacy and which data we collect. 

What is Huys&Werf?

Huys&Werf is a project by AHAM Real Estate and is part of the recently developed city district Oostenburg. Huys&Werf consists of fifteen modern apartments and multiple commercial spaces, which are administered by AHAM Real Estate.

What data doet AHAM Real Estate collect?

Personal info

If you’re interested in a commercial space or apartment through AHAM Real Estate, we’ll need some of your personal info, such as your name and email address. Only after your explicit consent we’ll continue to use your email address for other purposes (such as informing you on new real estate projects).

For Huys&Werf, we collaborate with Squarespace, a U.S.-based company that hosts our infrastructure. When you use the Huys&Werf website, Squarespace collects personal and user data. More information on this subject can be found in Squarespace’s Privacy Statement.

User data

When you visit a website, your device sends various data to a server, such as your IP address, the browser you use, your device’s operating system, and the web page you’re visiting. This is standard procedure, which means this also happens when you visit our website.

What are cookies and how do we use them?

Why and how do we use your information?

• To perform our service, which is letting out commercial spaces and apartments;

• For marketing purposes;

• To send you important info regarding the project;

• To collect anonymous statistical data;

• To secure, modify and improve our website and technical systems;

• To prevent fraud and misuse.

Third party use

Without your explicit consent, we will not provide your personal data to other parties for marketing purposes. Third parties will not be able to make you offers that are not specifically about Huys&Werf.

To reach out to our audience, we use (marketing) services by third parties such as Facebook. When collaborating with Facebook and similar parties, we do not share personal data. AHAM can only share your data with third parties with your consent.

We can share your data with a third party when this party is legally required to do so, when they are forced to do so following a law suit and/or when they regard it necessary to protect their own legal rights.

Retention period

Unless you explicitly consent otherwise, we will not store your data longer than necessary to perform our services. We store your data as long as is necessary and as briefly as possible. The specific retention period depends on the category of personal data: 

• If you subscribed to our newsletter, we’ll retain your data as long as we’re sending out the newsletter. If you unsubscribe, we’ll delete your personal data from our systems.

• Your user data is anonymous and not traceable to you.

Consult, alter, improve or delete your data

If you’d like to check or alter data we have collected, or if you want to change your personal details, you have the right to do so. Contact us via aham@aham.nl or via P.O. Box 1553, 1001 NB Amsterdam. We will respond to your request within four weeks.

If, on the basis of this extract, you would want us to alter, correct, complete, delete or unpublish data, you can send us a new request via aham@aham.nl or via the above-mentioned P.O. Box. We will respond within four weeks. If we decide not to honor your request, we will let you know why.

Deleting your data

If you would like us to delete your data, contact us via aham@aham.nl or via P.O. Box 1553, 1001 NB Amsterdam. We will delete your personal information as much as is legally possible.

Identity confirmation

To make sure your information request matches your identity, we can ask you to send us a copy of a valid ID alongside your data information request. We ask you to edit out your Social Security Number (BSN-number) and your passport photo. We will delete this copy of your ID after we’ve finalized your request.

Objections

If you disagree with AHAM’s use of your personal data, you can let us know and we’ll do everything we can to find a reasonable solution. However, you also have the right to contact the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. You can do this via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
